In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
